Konan & Itachi at Gringotts

[Itachi Uchiha]

Itachi & Konan arrive in front of the bank called Gringotts. Itachi saw an old sign & looked at it.

"Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there" recited Itachi as he read the sign aloud.

[Konan]

"tch....so this place disapproves of stealing...it's a bank, i already figured that..."

"Their certainly very welcoming" said Itachi.

"yes....well, we may as well get this over with..." starts walking forward

[Itachi Uchiha]

Itachi looked around & quickly took hold of her hand & walked with her, staying as calm as possible.

[Konan]

konan looked at him as they walked "you seem tense....no need to be...it isnt like we're here to rob the place..."

[Itachi Uchiha]

"It's not because of the bank. It's because of them" he said as he pointed a group of women who looked as if they were trying to devour him with their eyes.

[Konan]

konan chuckled quietly "i have never seen you so tense around women before...."

[Itachi Uchiha]

"Normally I wouldn't be if the entire female population didn't look ready to tear my clothes off & their way with me" he said, being totally serious as they walked inside the bank.

[Konan]

if konan didnt know any better, she would've laughed, but she did know better so she kept her mouth shut. She winced "no need to hold onto my hard so hard, itachi...." she looked at him with raised eyebrows

[Itachi Uchiha]

"Sorry" he said as he let go of her hand. He looked at the people running the bank & his eyes grew wide. "What are those things?" asked a flabbergasted Itachi.

[Konan]

konan pulled a disgusted face from behind her hood "i dont know but keep your voice down, we dont want to offend them or they may not serve us...." approaches the head desk

[Itachi Uchiha]

Itachi walked after her up to the head desk. What was on the other side of the desk was some sort of goblin. "Can I help you two?" he asked with a sneer. Itachi glared at him but his glare seemed to have no effect on the goblin.

[Konan]

konan regarded the goblin with contempt "is that how you speak to ALL of your customers?" she replied, also with a sneer

[Itachi Uchiha]

"Yes I do" he said with an even bigger sneer before Itachi took out a kunai & stabbed it into the goblin's hand. The goblin yelled out in pain, alerting everyone, even the guards to what happened. The manager of the bank ran over to them. "May I ask why you did that to Biletooth?" asked the head goblin. "This goblin was being undeniably rude" said Itachi.

[Konan]

konan nods, regaining her composure. She looked down at the manager with her deepest blue eyes and spoke calmly "we're not here to fight, we're here to have our money changed..."

[Itachi Uchiha]

The goblin's eyes lit up at the word money. "I see. Guards" the manager yelled as two giant goblins with spears came in. "Escort Biletooth out" said the head goblin. The guards nodded & dragged Biletooth away. "Not all goblins are like that, just some of them. They have a deep loathing for humans. My name is Ragnok. I am the manager of this bank. Allow me to exchange your money for you to make up for this injustice" offered Ragnok.

[Konan]

konan nodded again "my thanks," she handed him the purse she had been carrying "all of that will need to be changed..."

[Itachi Uchiha]

Itachi gave him a wallet with money in it. "I'll get this exchanged right away" he said as he went to exchange money.

[Konan]

konan nodded and took a seat nearby. she sighed heavily, looking like she was thinking deeply.

[Itachi Uchiha]

Itachi sat beside her. "What's wrong Konan?" he asked her.

[Konan]

"Pein-Sama....we've been arguing...again," scoffs "thats why he didnt accompany me here..."

[Itachi Uchiha]

Itachi frowned. "Lord Pein's power is starting to go to his head I think" he said truthfully.

[Konan]

nods "I'm afraid i have to agree...my patience with him is wearing very thin, Itachi," she looked at Itachi wearily, obviously tired of the arguments

[Itachi Uchiha]

"I would suggest you leave him but you wouldn't take my suggestion & it would get me killed" he said.
